1. Chinese Essential Institutional Partner

On the establishment of PCFA, the Patron, The Princess Royal, Her Royal Highness, Princess Salōte Mafile’o Pilolevu Tuita, signed an MoU with the President of Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC). The MOU was renewed in 2023 at the Friendship Forum convened in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, People’s Republic of China. The MOU was signed by the President of CPAFFC Ambassador LIN Songtian, and the Patron of PCFA>  

2. Other Chinese Institutional Partners

To give the most benefit and advantage for our members, PCFA has, and will continue to, sign with different local People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in China. This permits Chinese regions to work easier and directly with our different Pacific FAs. For this reason, to date, 4 partnerships have been signed: 

–          Xining People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries,

–          Guangdong People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries,

–          Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries,

–          Fujian People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, 

–          China Oceanic Development Foundation (CODF),

PCFA is currently in discussion with:

–          China Overseas Fisheries Association (COFA).

3. Regional Strategic Partner

PCFA has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Pacific Islands Development Forum. PIDF encompasses the collective efforts of Governments, civil society organizations and the private sector to address issues of common interest, challenges, and map out solutions tailored to the needs of Pacific Island countries.

PCFA has signed with several corporations, including:

–          Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC),

–          China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation’s (CCECC),

–          China Dalian International Economic & Technical Cooperation Group (CDIG),
